Beautiful Ruins

I had the most amazing day today!  I got to hear Jess Walter, author of Beautiful Ruins talk about the book and his life.  He is really quite hysterical and I had a blast.  It's always good to have some girlfriend time and this is one of the events that we never miss. 

Have you read this book yet?  It's a really great read and takes you over a span of 50 years to Italy and back!  Mr. Walter is a gifted writer and speaker (most of time you don't get both!)  I highly recommend Beautiful Ruins if you haven't read it yet!
