The Organic Coffee Co. Giveaway ends July 22 TONIGHT!!

My family was always big coffee drinkers.  My Mom and Dad had a hot pot of coffee that they drank all day long and into the evenings. I wasn't much of a coffee fan until my early twenties when I was in the Army. The Army always made sure that the coffee was was kept hot! Mess Hall coffee was not quality coffee by any stretch, but I had nothing to compare it to, so it was okay with me.

Since the 80's, my taste in coffee has been considerably fine-tuned! That's why I was thrilled to try an assortment of amazingness provided by The Organic Coffee Co. The coffees I tried are a part of the coffee lines made by the Rogers Family Company. In 1979, Jon Rogers, a Revlon marketing executive knew that a better coffee could be found than he was able to find in New York.  He moved his family to the San Francisco Bay Area and he and his wife Barbara founded JBR Gourmet Foods, which is now the Rogers Family Company.  Since that time their mission has been to seek the world's finest Arabica varieties and create the best coffees found anywhere.

The Rogers Family Company's brands now include San Francisco Bay Coffee, The Organic Coffee Co., Fairwinds Coffee, Pleasant Hill Farms, East India Tea, Black Mountain Gold and Cafe Jerusalem.

The Organic Coffee Co. flavors varieties that I had the opportunity to sample included French Roast, Breakfast Blend, Gorilla Decaf and Java Love.  Here's what The Organic Coffee Co. has to say about these coffees:
  • Java LoveAn exotic and syrupy blend of Indonesian and Latin American coffees.
  • French RoastEnjoy the distinct, smoky, bold taste French Roast fanatics love.
  • Breakfast BlendA bright and flavorful blend of the finest 100% organic Central and South American coffees. A perfect way to start the morning.
  • Gorilla DecafFull-city roasted taste that is big, strong yet mellow. Decaffeinated using the Natural Water Process.
My absolute favorite, you might have guessed, is Java Love!  Like all of the coffees I was provided, it has a rich, deep flavor, but for whatever reason, the Java Love really suited my tastes perfectly! If you love dark and rich coffee, this is the one that you'll enjoy! Besides being great tasting coffees, their packaging and everything in it is 97% biodegradable, so you virtually leave zero footprint!

A 12-count box of these coffees prices out at $6.99, which is $0.58 per cup!  Take THAT coffee houses!  You can see the story of their One Cup single serve coffee by clicking HERE.  You can find more information on the Rogers Family Company HERE and more information about their coffees HERE.  In my opinion, this coffee is some of the best you can buy at the very best price!

The generous Rogers Family Company have agreed to give one of my readers the same four boxes of 12-count K-Cups that I tried shown above!  Simply enter using GiveawayTools below.  US only please.  Good luck!

Disclosure:  I received products to facilitate my review and form my opinion, however my opinion remains my own.  Monica's Rants, Raves & Reviews is not responsible for prize shipment.  This giveaway is not associated with either Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter or any other social media sites listed on the Giveaway.

  11. I bought bags of coffee from their Cafe Jerusalem line to use as Christmas gifts last year - I fully admit, I picked them out because of the name and the bag design - but then the people I gave them to raved about the coffee. I had ordered a bag for myself, but hadn't opened it yet. Let me tell you, Cafe Jerusalem blend is amazing. I can't say it is my favorite, because I haven't had one from them yet that I DIDN'T like.......
