Swiffer Breast Cancer Awareness Giveaway - ends Oct. 13!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I support Breast Cancer Awareness because early detection is the key to prevention! I am a Stage 3B survivor and know first-hand that finding breast cancer early comes from getting regular mammograms so please, please, please make your appointment now!

Swiffer supports Breast Cancer Awareness by partnering with Cleaning for a Reason, an organization that works with more than 1,000 local and professional maid services to bring meaning to cleaning by helping women focus their energy on fighting cancer. Since 2006, the partner maid services have volunteered their time to clean for over 17,000 women. They offer four cleanings to women with any cancer, once a month for four months!  How great is that?!

Swiffer has created pink products, which you can pick up at Walmart. Or you can win them in this great giveaway hosted by Drugstore Divas and A Bride On A Budget. Two lucky winners will win a prize pack with a $25 Walmart gift card, plus items from Crest, Bounty, Oral B, Olay and Pantene, as well as a Swiffer Duster. This giveaway starts now and ends at 11:59pm EST on October 13. To enter, you must be a US resident who is 18 or older. The winner(s) will be contacted via email and will have 24 hours to respond before another winner is selected.

Good luck! Monica's Rants, Raves & Reviews received no compensation for this giveaway and is not responsible for prize fulfillment.

  12. I ama survivor of Breast Cancer, but my Aunt passed due to it. Early detection is the key, I found mine in the beginning stages. This is because of Aunt, women laugh when I say you really have to KNOW your breasts, The moment the doctor says you can get a mammogram get one! A early Baseline is very important! If you cannot afford one there is a group out there (sorry forget who they are) that will pay for you to have one. Don't forget SAVE THE TATA'S!

  14. It's important to me because my great grandmother had a double mastectomy, my mom's mom has had breast cancer a few times and has full blown terminal bone cancer, my mom has also had breast cancer and a few other types of cancer throughout the years. So I definitely have to be careful and now that I have an almost 2yr old daughter, I have to keep an eye on her as well.. So October is a big month for us. But thank you for the giveaway just the same.

  21. My mom currently has a biopsy for a lump in her breast scheduled for this Wednesday. I had a fibrous adenoma when I was younger and I'm hoping that is all it is. The 7 days it takes to hear results is going to feel like forever. I haven't personally been touched thus far by breast cancer and I hope it stays that way.
