Black Jewell Popcorn Review

I grew up in a family of popcorn eaters:  every night my Dad had a massive bowl of popcorn from which each kid could take a smaller bowl from. We watched TV and ate popcorn and those are some of my best memories!

My oldest son would eat popcorn every night if he could. I attribute it to his genetic makeup. He's off to college now, but recently came home for the Thanksgiving holiday and I knew it was the perfect time to try Black Jewell Popcorn!

One of the first things he did when he got home was make a big bowl of Black Jewell Popcorn! I was impressed with the fact that there were very few kernels left in the bag unpopped, especially since we tried the microwave bags. The taste was fabulous and the consistency was perfect!

The popcorn is 100% natural, non-GMO, gluten free, cholesterol free and contains no trans fats. I really like that it's a healthy snack and that it's grown and harvested right herein on Midwest farms!

Black Jewell Popcorn comes in loose kernels in 28 ounce jars and in microwave packs. Their jar varieties include Original Black, Crimson Jewell and Native Mix. You can get the microwave packs in Natural, Butter, Kettle and No Salt No Oil, so you truly have a choice!

I really like the flavor and the consistency of the popcorn. Sometimes popcorn leaves me feeling like I have 520000 hulls stuck in my teeth. I didn't experience that with Black Jewell. Even though we tried the Microwave Butter, it wasn't terribly greasy the way some brands are. I give this popcorn an A+!

You can find Black Jewell Popcorn at your grocer, or follow them on Facebook or Twitter.

Disclosure:  I was provided products to facilitate my review and form my opinion, however my opinion remains my own.
