  2. Thanks for the chance to win! I want to grow my own herbs because I hate paying for fresh basil and parsley at the grocery store, and I use them in a lot of summer salad recipes.

  3. I love to use real herbs in the foods that I make for my family. I do have a rosemary and love making food with this as one of the ingredients.

  4. I love fresh herbs. They taste twice as good as store bought. My favorite herb is Cilantro. I just don't like that it doesn't have a very long life span.

  6. My favorite thing to grow is magic beans. My kids call them 'Jumangi" beans because the beautiful vines go crazy. They are "magic" in many ways, the flowers and leaves are edible and the bean pods are delicious, cut cross wise and dropped into soups and stews. The dried beans are much larger than a lima bean and it doesn't as many to make a meal of beans and rice. The real name of this mighty food producer: Canavalia gladiata or Sword Bean.

  12. Tommy Toe Tomatoes. I love it when the kids and I can grab a few off the plant and munch then while we're out in the yard. Any veggie in their bellies is a good veggie.
