Let me start by telling you how important having nice sheets is in connection with my ability to sleep. When I was younger I could sleep anywhere, but since I have gotten old (gasp!), I have trouble getting comfortable if my sheets are not a certain thread count. Sounds crazy, but it's true! If they're a low thread count they scratch and feel awful on my skin, so I just can't seem to get comfortable.
When Yorkshire-Mayfair offered to let me try their 1000 thread count set, I was ready, and let me say that this set is truly one of the best I've tried! It's made of 100% luxury sateen Egyptian cotton and comes with one flat sheet, one fitted sheet and two pillowcases. The fitted sheet has nice deep pockets (16 inches), so there is no pulling up during the night, which I detest.
Being ex-Army makes me a craze-o when it comes to making my bed and these sheets are amazingly easy to work with probably due to the high thread count. There's virtually no wrinkles which is also important to me. Making your bed after a night on these sheets doesn't get much easier. They offer tons of colors, which are all deep and vibrant.
