From the "Things Could Always be Worse" file!

A young woman in Sweden stole a train and crashed it into a house!

A young woman cleaner reportedly stole a train and crashed it into a house outside Stockholm on Tuesday.

The woman got the keys to the train and actually drove it away and crashed into the building, The Associated Press reported. She was injured in the incident and taken to hospital. There were no reports of injuries to people in the building.

"It was a cleaner who for unknown reasons stole the train," said a spokesman for Arriva, the company that operates the train line. "She was a cleaner. Somehow she managed to get in and steal one of the trains. We're investigating how it could have happened."

  1. Honestly I don't know what goes through someone's mind these days. I am just glad no one in the house was hurt.

  9. How many times did they need to say she was a cleaner? Like they were surprised a woman cleaner could steal a train!

  10. HA Valarie -- I thought of that too -- she's only a cleaner -- what does she know! LOL! I think they were trying to explain why she was on the train at all. Maybe something got lost in the translation? :)
