ReplyDeleteI really love their philosophy: "Our philosophy is that education should be more than teaching math and literacy. It should provide a challenging and stimulating environment where children obtain knowledge through active exploration and interaction. An environment where they can use their imagination to reveal their true inner self; a world infused with purity and creativity! We design our games with love and affection, truly believing in these principles." <This can be found in the "About" section of there page.

ReplyDeleteFirst off, I love the avocado smile in their logo! So funny. I also love that all of the animals have actual personalities. This helps kids with social skills and understanding.
ReplyDeleteI had never heard of the Avokiddo brand. I like this emotions app you talk about, because I'm a counselor and it's relevant.
ReplyDeleteI love that they think education should take place through active exploration and interaction. Too many people think that kids should learn passively, which leans to poor learning.

ReplyDeleteThe Avokiddo apps are exactly what I'm looking for to add to my list of apps for my two year-old - both educational and entertaining. I learned from the site that the apps are "kid user" friendly. The site itself is parent friendly. I've never heard of Avokiddo before reading this blog but three clicks later learned that Avokiddo has two apps available for download. Both apps are age appropriate for my child and easily accessible videos clearly showed how each app works. I was sold at the zebra blowing bubbles.
ReplyDeleteI'd never heard of Avokiddo before, but it's great that they encourage learning and creativity through fun games available on all mobile devices!
