Unfortunately breast cancer is everywhere. I am a seven year survivor of stage 3B breast cancer (that's like getting a D minus!) There was a time that I questioned whether or not I would live long enough to see my boys go to high school. Fortunately, I am one of the lucky ones, but many more (including quite a few of my friends) have not been so lucky. Early detection is the key, so please get a mammogram and do self exams!
During October, the country turns a keen eye to Breast Cancer research and obtaining additional funding and promoting breast health awareness.

My sister had cancer several years ago. Luckily they caught it early and she is great now.
