Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops Review!

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Have you gotten a nasty cold yet this winter?  We've gone through a couple rounds of colds and sniffles and I even had a nice bout of pneumonia!  During these trials I was glad I had Pine Bros. handy!

Pine Bros. has been around since 1870.  They were created by Herman Pine while he and his brother   in their candy shop.  In the 1930 they were sold to Life Savers and continued to flourish.  Over the years it's been bought and sold many times, even though it had many loyal customers.  Finally due to cost cutting changes that were made to the original recipes the market became stale.  Pine Brothers started to be made overseas and sales declined.

In 2011 Pine Brothers was again bought -- this time by the former owner of Airborne and her company 3 Sisters Home Products.  3 Sisters has put much time into locating the original Pine Brothers recipes and recreating the classic look.  The product is now being made in America and once again flourishing!

Pine Bros. saves me from those most embarrassing public coughing fits on elevators and crowded commuter train lines.  They also help during public speaking - the glycerin soothes and coats your throat without the sickly sweet taste that makes some of the other brands not as good in my opinion. They come in several flavors including Natural Honey, Licorice, Lemon Citrus and my favorite, Wild Cherry.  They are packaged in bags and these lovely pucks which make throwing them in your purse or brief case so easy!

Pine Bros. is available nationwide.  You can find them on Facebook and Twitter.

Disclosure:  I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
