  2. My mom taught me to make the best no bake peanut butter oatmeal cookies! I made them during the holidays now.

  3. My family is Italian and naturally there are many traditions and traditional recipes. The one I always loved the best was made by my aunt and it was an egg, meat and cheese pie. It was a loaf shape and the crust was made with cracked black pepper. This was served at Easter.

  4. Yes, we have a nice family tradition of celebrating Greek Easter. We all get together at a family members house and roast a lamb in a pit. We eat lots of Greek foods like spinach pie, grape leaves, greek salad, red died eggs and much more. It's a lot of fun and it's a nice way to start of spring.

  6. I have a few recipes that were handed down from my mom. She taught me to cook over the phone. She always worked. One of my favorite recipes is a really easy frito pie called mexican holdover. She made it whenever she had family or friends coming to dinner. Brown hamburger and onion. Drain the grease. Then pour in cream of mushroom soup and cheddar cheese soup and a can of rotel tomatoes. You can make this ahead of time. Just before dinner warm up. the sauce. Then layer sauce and fritos. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and put in the oven or microwave until the cheese melts. That is it. YUM. My youngest brother would eat this cold for breakfast. Both of them are dead. Every time I make it I think of them.

  10. When I was a kid we would sit around the table and color Easter eggs with coffee cups filled with the water, vinegar and Paas dye tablets, and it was always fun. Now with my kids we always try to dye Easter eggs the same way, so my kids will have the same experience! Lots of cool new ways to dye eggs now too!
