Don't you love soft butter? I do, but butter that I keep in the fridge is never soft. I don't like the taste of margarine, but it stays soft so I can spread it. Now that I found Butter Bell® Crocks, I can have my butter and it is soft butter too!
Butter Bell® Crocks are a small, family owned business (actually a father and daughter!) that are have worked hard for the past 15 years to become the most popular brand of butter crocks in the US! Butter Bell® Crocks are a modern version of the original French butter pot. Made of New Bone China, the crock insures that with correct usage, butter can be kept fresh and spreadable for up to 30 days!
The product concept is simple and it really works. Shaped like a cylinder standing 3.75 inches, the crock holds one stick of butter. You simply press the butter down tight to be sure that you remove any air pockets. You add a 1/3 cup of cold water in the base and turn the cylindrical top butter-side down. The water and the butter meet, forming an airtight seal that keeps the butter fresh, but still nice and spreadable! Just change out the water every three days and you're all set.
Butter Bell® Crocks come in an assortment of colors. The stripe collection was just introduced and in blue it matches my dishes to a tee! The Stripe Butter Butter Bell® Collection comes in red, blue, black and yellow.
Butter Bell® Crock's website sells many other kitchen, tabletop and gift items too. They have an entire Antique Tabletop collection that matches the Butter Bell® Crock line! You can find the website HERE.

This is an interesting concept. I usually have to microwave the butter to try and soften it but it ends up melting all the way and its frustrating lol!
