Now that the calendar says October, the holidays are right around the corner! Are you ready? The holidays and food go hand-in-hand and doing a bit of preparation before the event can remove a lot of stress. When you plan and prepare, you can sit back on the day and truly enjoy it.
Here's a couple of tips that can help remove some of the stress of the holidays:
- Plan your Menu: Carefully get your list together and prepare what you can ahead of time so that you aren't slicing and dicing on the morning of your event! Gather your recipes and dishes so that you are ready to go! Make sure your linens are clean and pressed and the silver is sparkling.
- Guest List: Make certain you know who is coming, if you have adequate space for them. If you have out-of-town guests be sure that you can accommodate them or have hotels reserved. They fill up quickly!
- Appliances: Nothing can ruin your parties quicker than appliances that don't work properly or aren't large enough. You may want to consider upgrading before the holidays get here with appliances from Best Buy.
Best Buy offers a Whirlpool range that fits within in the space of a standard range, but lets you cook two dishes at two different temperatures at the same time. They also offer a Frigidaire that reduces cleanup time because spills won't burn on. Its' a convection oven that circulates the air for quicker baking times, and who can't use more time during this hectic time of year?
