The G40 Incandescent bulbs that I received are much more pleasing to the eye than LED lights - they're not as harsh. I love that you can connect the ends to expand the lights and they are safe for both indoor and outdoor use. My favorite feature of these amazing lights is that if one bulb burns out, the rest of the string remains lit! I love that the globes are transparent and you can see the filaments. In my opinion it adds a bit of flare! Brilliante also offers a frosted version.
I was excited to find that there is a hook built right into the bulb socket, so each bulb can be strategically placed without worry of moving. There are 25 bulbs per strand and each strand is 25 feet in length!

These are really nice-- I could see using these on my patio,for all year long. I am glad they are not so harsh on the eyes such as other lighting can be.
