    I"m looking forward to May 1st, May Day which is International Workers' Day, commemorates the historic struggle of working people throughout the world, and is recognized in most countries. The United States of America and Canada are among the exceptions. This despite the fact that the holiday began in the 1880s in the USA, It's also International Sunflower Guerrilla Gardening Day, which is a day when guerrilla gardeners around the world plant sunflowers in their neighborhoods, typically in neglected public places such as tree pits, shabby flower beds and bare roadside verges. So, I plan on going to a May Day Marh in OC and planting sunflowers.

    We have SO much to look forward to in May!
    1 daughter who has to move across the country later this month is coming to spend her last 2 wks here at our home with us! 1 daughter and her fiance who already live across the country are flying in next week to spend 5 days with us. My parents are traveling across the state to spend a weekend with us. My husband and I are celebrating our 12 yr anniversary of our 1st date & 11 yr anniversary of our engagement this month and have an entire celebratory weekend planned for the 2 of us for that. Also my parents will be celebrating their 48th wedding anniversary. One of our daughters will turn 23 on the 31st and our oldest son will turn 28 on the 26th.
