Jackpot Candle Giveaway - ends 4/30!

With all of the hype about candles that have a piece of jewelry in them, I'm sure you've tried one or at least seen one within the past year or so but I'm here to tell you that not all of the candles are the same. I have had the opportunity to try out several brands and have found that I'm typically not very satisfied. When I light a candle in my home, I want the fragrance to last longer than one lighting! Recently, Jackpot Candles contacted me to give their candles a test run. When I learned that they were made in the U.S.A., I couldn't resist saying yes!

We recently had to spend 6 weeks out of our home while it underwent a remodel so when we finally returned home, I couldn't wait to burn my Valentine Candy Hearts - Limited Edition Candle. This candle aroma features a combination of candied confections with leading tones of vanilla and sugar as well as subtle hints of cinnamon. It's an extremely romantic fragrance! Each candle is made with 100% Premium Natural Soy, is infused with essential oils and burns for 80 to 100 hours.

See that piece of purple foil? That is my Jackpot that I couldn't wait to unwrap! Once the candle had burned long enough and the soy was loose enough, I was able to remove the foil packet with a pair of tweezers and remove the small plastic baggie that contained my piece of jewelry. My favorite part about the jewelry I receive is that I get to pick what I want whether it be a ring, earrings or a necklace and I even get to pick the size too so I'm not going to end up with something that I won't be able to wear. For my review, I initially chose earrings but because of my nickel allergy, I ended up opting for a ring so I wouldn't have to worry about a reaction.

Here is my Jackpot ring! I love simple jewelry so this ring couldn't have been more perfect for my taste. Each piece of jewelry comes with a small tag attached that includes a code on it. The code can then be entered on the Appraisal page to see how much your jewelry is worth! Mine was worth $18 - all of the jewelry is valued anywhere from $15 to $5,000!

Each candle is 21 oz. in size and is priced at $24.95. There are a variety of scents ranging from fresh baked cookies to flowers to fruit! If you prefer a non-burning product, try the tarts - they're available in a 5.5 oz. package for $15.95 and offer 60 hours of fragrances for your home. A few of the tips I have learned is that it is best to keep the wick trimmed to about 1/4" in length. I don't like to have black soot burned on the glass jar of the candle and keeping the wick shorter will help prevent this from occurring.  I am extremely pleased with my Jackpot Candle and am looking forward to purchasing a few more for the Spring/Summer - in particular, I am going buy the Watermelon and Georgia Peach!
