    Kids go back at the end of August around here. Iowa just had a big debate on what the date should be for kids, and so its now the last week of August so that it doesn't cut into the tourism for Iowa.

    Our kids go back September 2nd but other districts near us do not start until September 8th

    Sep 8th, & it can't come soon enough! The teens are driving me insane. LOL! We'll have 4 of 5 in school this year.

    Two of my grandkids go back to school in 3 weeks and three of my grandkids start in September.

    Our local school will be back in session on August 12th - the earliest I can remember. When I was in grade school, we always started the day after Labor Day. Over the years, the start date has been pushed back more and more.

    We always go back sometime during the week of 20th-25th of August here in Ohio. Too early - I prefer the after Labor Day like it was when I was a kid!

    The kids go back on 08/18 for a half day the first day then from there on the rest of the year.
