Joyous Earth!

We are in the throes of winter . . . ah the bone-chilling cold! There's nothing I love as much as going home after a long day at the office and snuggling up in my favorite chair with a good book and a soft throw. That's why I was thrilled to have the opportunity to review NOVICA's Joyous Earth throw!

You've probably heard of NOVICA before now - they work in association with National Geographic, and gather talented artists and designers to bring you amazing treasures that you otherwise couldn't find. What I love about their wares is that they are fair trade products and certified for quality and authenticity. NOVICA offers a plethora of keepsakes and unusual goods. You should do yourself a favor and check them out!

This throw is not only soft and luxurious, it is positively stunning. The vibrant colors will match most decor and include orange, brown, beige and olive. The beautiful basket weave is tight enough that your toes won't poke through the blanket, but loose enough to allow it to breathe so that you won't get overheated while napping.

This beautiful throw is hand-crafted and measures 65" x 54". It is made of 100% acrylic though it feels like spun satin.  I love the depth of each strand and how amazing the colors look combined. This throw is a wonderful addition to our family room. The only problem is that there are three of us and only one throw!
