I'm a big fan of the darker chocolate and cherry colors of wood, personally. I love the two tone of the one that is shown!
ReplyDeleteI know someone who is allergic to nickle so he can't wear normal watches this would be AMAZING!
I love cherry wood, paducah wood and chestnut. I think this watch looks really great and would love to win it. Since I love the feeling of wood I am certain I would love wearing a watch made of wood.
ReplyDeleteI prefer dark shades of wood. Cherry is especially nice. Most of the furniture in my house is made up of various dark woods. My bedroom in particular is done in cherry wood. Then I have some pieces of wooden décor pieces throughout my home; bowls, etc. Some light and some dark. Some done in bamboo. I like things to look natural and kind of earthy. Mostly neutral colors, with small pops of color here and there.
ReplyDeleteWalnut – nice grain, great color, and holds carving/details well
ReplyDeletePoplar – similar to Walnut but cheaper, but can be finished to look like cherry
Oak – it is cheap and durable
That's how I see them! ;D
I prefer darker woods...they just seem to look nicer with all our decor :)
ReplyDeleteI prefer rich, naturals woods- cherry, exotics, etc. If you stick with natural woods- no stains or colored varnish- then all woods can go with any décor.

I prefer dark woods. We have wood flooring throughout our house and it is definitely my preference. I like pieces to be sturdy, solid, real wood and avoid particle board, etc.
ReplyDeleteI like the medium tone wood colors on cabinets and on floors..I dont really like it to dark because it shows specks and I cannot stand a dirty floor..
