Peanut Butter and Fluff GIVEAWAY! ENDS 1/15!!!

I'm helping my dear friend with her one year Blogiversary -- be sure to check it out below and enter to win an adorable dress for your little one!

#1 Event for My One Year Blogiversary - Review and Giveaway for Peanut Butter and Fluff! (US ONLY, Ends 1/15/13)

My dear friend, Melissa, started her own business called Peanut Butter and Fluff and I would love to introduce you to her! She makes beautiful pillowcase dresses, smocked outfits, teddy bears and more! The color combinations that she comes up with are just incredible!

She made Daniella a super cute smocked outfit. Let me show you just how adorable:

She blended several fabric patterns
The shirt is sleeveless which made it perfect for our Thanksgiving trip to Florida
I love all of the ruffles

Such a great color combination!

Can you see the big buttons at the shoulders? Too cute!
We also easily layered a white long sleeved shirt underneath  when we traveled to NJ in December for my niece's  Bat Mitzvah. Isn't the owl iron on just way too adorable? You can see the buttons better here too.
Here is a closer view of the pants and sides :)
Daniella absolutely loves this outfit! She is very comfortable in it and can move about freely. I love the big buttons that she can use to help herself get dressed! I think all of the ruffles are my favorite part though.

Features:
*Can be worn as is or can be layered for cooler weather
*Adorable
*Great fabric choices
*Fits Daniella perfectly with room to grow! (Not to mention, she could use it as capris once she is too tall to use it for pants!)
*Waistband is made with elastic and is super easy to slip on and off

Suggestions for improvement:
*As Melissa is fairly new to this, and has developed her own patterns as she has learned, not everything has been perfected yet. Some of the seams are slightly uneven (which she pointed out to me herself!). They are hardly noticeable unless you are looking closely.
*The iron on began peeling just slightly next to the owl's left ear after the first washing. (Melissa had forewarned me that it had given her issues with going on. She had also said that she is looking into purchasing an embroidering machine so that she can move beyond iron ons as she herself wasn't pleased with the outcome)

Peanut Butter and Fluff also made Daniella a pillowcase dress! Melissa used fleece fabric with the theme of my choice (winter wonderland) so that it would be even warmer for Daniella to wear! I love it on her! Check it out!

She has white Baby Legs with silver snowflakes on them to match! :)
Lots of silly snowmen all over the top
A darker blue with snowflake on the bottom
Red ties and red rick rack to separate the fabrics
Features:
*Fleece fabric makes it great to layer with to wear in the winter.
*Great fabric combination makes it wearable all winter long
*The length is perfect! This will fit her easily as a dress until size 4, maybe even size 5 and then she can probably wear it as a shirt until she is 6 or 7!
*I have mixed and matched white, red and blue long sleeved shirts under the dress! :)

Suggestions for improvement:
*As Melissa is fairly new to this, and has developed her own patterns as she has learned, not everything has been perfected yet. Some of the seams are slightly uneven (which she pointed out to me herself!). They are hardly noticeable unless you are looking closely.
*The ties do not have a seam so you can see the back of the fabric when the flop around enough. Not a horrible thing but adding seams to them would make them even cuter!

Overall, I have washed and dried these items several times and they have held true to size and I am very pleased with them! I highly recommend you check out Peanut Butter and Fluff for some adorable items for your little ones!

Peanut Butter and Fluff has a price range of $10 to $30 and this is what she says about herself and why her prices are SO LOW:
"I began sewing pillow case dresses for my daughter during the hot summer months in GA. It seemed so much more economical than buying since it is a relatively easy pattern. Well, as I made more and more, I perfected the design and streamlined the process. This gave me time to try new patterns, new fabric combinations, and new design ideas! The more I create, the more I am loving the finished product!
Being a semi-stay-at-home mom, I realize that not everyone has money to spend on beautifully hand-made, one-of-a-kind clothing for their child.(because I sure don't!) And that's how Peanut Butter and Fluff was born! I love to sew and create and want everyone to be able to own clothing for their child that is one-of-a-kind, without breaking their pocketbooks.
Thank you for joining in on my adventure! Take a look around and if you see something you admire, let me know! I would be happy to add your family to our growing list of happy kids."
